Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking recent graduates, early career professionals, and advanced career professionals with limited technical experience interested in jump-starting a career as an Associate Professional Services Consultant and participating in AWS development programs (Tech U or Professional Services Graduate programs) to advance their technical and professional skills.
Successful hires will be put through an accelerated workforce development program focused on helping recent graduates and early career professionals build technical and professional skills to jump-start technical careers at AWS. The program features cohort-based training followed by on-the-job-training. You will complete a specialized curriculum, shadow AWS experts, and receive coaching and on-the-job training to help you succeed in your new role.
Residents will also prepare for, and take the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate and AWS Developer Associate certifications. During the program’s on-the-job training phase, residents will prepare for additional certifications that align to your role.

Associate Professional Services Consultant-
As an Associate Professional Services Consultant, you will partner with customers to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to expand use of AWS within organizations.
The program offers the opportunity to specialize in an area of interest such as DevOps, Application Development, Data and Analytics (including AI/ML) or Security.

- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related science/technical fields, equivalent training, certifications, and/or experience.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or currently enrolled with a graduation date in 2022.
- Good communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both large and small audiences
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Experience with two or more of the following: Networking fundamentals; Security; Storage; Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL); Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows); Modern programming languages (Node.JS, Java, Ruby, C#, Python, or PHP)
- Business fluent English languages skills
- Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution in a school project or while working for a company
- Experience with one or more of the following domains: systems administration (Linux/Window), network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing)
